We exhibited Projecting Grief for five weeks in St Catherine’s, Barmby Moor, East Yorkshire, attracting visitors from across the diocese. We also ran a Doodle Chat session with artist Edek Thompson and a memory hoop embroidery workshop with textile artist Hayley Mills-Styles and a clay workshops at Fangfoss Pottery for local people to access free of charge. This collaboration was supported by the Diocese of York and East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

Fangfoss Pottery hosted our first ever pottery workshop where people were invited to have a go at ‘mindful pottery’ - throwing bowls on the wheel - and making a memory tile. Many participants came back for a second session to glaze the tiles before they were fired.
