& workshops

We’re passionate about getting Projecting Grief out into communities and giving people a safe space to explore their experiences of grief and engage in creative practice. If we could support you or your organisation by hosting an exhibition, series of workshops - or if you have another idea for a collaboration - we’d love to hear from you.

We’ve collaborated with many organisations, institutions and venues including Leeds Playhouse, Leeds International Festival of Ideas (LIFI), Thackray Museum of Medicine, NHS Greater Manchester, the University of York and the Diocese of York. See below for more details for specific events.

“The collective power of the stories and images is incredibly moving…it made me feel less alone.”

We have a portable exhibition of portraits mounted on aluminium dibond to gallery/museum standards available for hire, either as a complete set or in part. We also have a set of freestanding, double-sided exhibition panels suitable for short-term ‘pop-up’ exhibitions at venues where fixing portraits to a wall isn’t possible.

We can facilitate a wide range of creative workshops for groups of all sizes led by people with lived experience of bereavement. We’re also happy to speak at conferences, webinars or on podcasts. We believe that creativity is powerful, and that it’s for everyone. With this in mind, we strive to work as inclusively as we can, with as much co-creation and as few barriers to participation as we can possibly manage.
