Thackray Museum of Medicine

We exhibited a selection of our portraits at Thackray Museum of Medicine for 12 months. As part of this collaboration, we were commissioned to create four new grief and creativity stories from the East Leeds and Leeds medical community.

Thackray were keen that the exhibition reflect their community. They commissioned us to produce four new sets of portraits and stories from their East Leeds and medical network. We spoke to and photographed artist Edek about his Doodle Chat sessions, senior cardiographer Hannah about her poetry, mum Salima about her journalling practice and peer support worker Liz about gardening.

Projecting Grief sitter and visual artist Moni also led a paper flower workshops where participants made snowdrops in memory of a loved one.
